Partner Programme

Send us a guest.
Get paid properly.

We're a small, owner-run operation at the gates of Tadoba. We'd rather pay a fair commission to people who genuinely know a traveller than spend the same money on advertising to strangers. No platform, no dashboard, no minimum quota — a code, a spreadsheet, and a payment that actually arrives.

Who this is for

Four kinds of partner

Rates differ because the work differs. A corporate agent handling twenty people and their invoicing is doing more than someone sharing a link — so they earn more.

Tier A 15%

Travel agents & corporate bookers

You handle the client relationship, group coordination and paperwork, and bring us a confirmed booking. Applies to group and corporate bookings of six people or more; 12% below that.

Tier B 10%

Photographers & naturalists

You bring guests who came because of your work — workshop participants, photo-tour clients, people who follow your wildlife photography and trust your judgement on where to shoot.

Tier C 8%

Content & community partners

Bloggers, YouTubers, wildlife groups and community admins who share a link or code. Lower rate because attribution is looser and the relationship with the guest is lighter.

Tier D ₹3,000

Past guests

A flat credit against your next booking with us for each new guest you send who travels. Not cash — a discount on your own next trip. Uncapped.

Lodges and resorts: we don't pay cash commission to accommodation partners — we work on reciprocal referral instead. You send us safari guests, we place bookings with you. Terms agreed individually.
What commission is paid on

The part most programmes hide

Read this before anything else. It's the difference between a commission that looks generous and one that actually is.

ComponentCommissionable?Why
AccommodationYesOur margin sits here.
Meals in the quoted rateYesPart of the nightly rate we quote.
Our planning & coordination feeYesThis is our own work.
Forest department permitsNoFixed government rates, passed through at cost. There is no margin to share.
Jeep & forest guide feesNoSet by the reserve, paid straight through.
GST and taxesNoCollected on behalf of the government.
Third-party flights & transfersNoBooked at cost as a convenience.
Plainly: commission is calculated on the net booking value after removing permits, government fees and taxes — not on the headline total the guest pays. On a typical Tadoba trip that net figure is most of the booking, but on a permit-heavy short trip it can be noticeably less. We'll show you the calculation on every payout, not just the final number.
How it works

Four steps, no dashboard

Deliberately low-tech. A tracking platform would cost more than it saves at our volume, and it's one more thing to break.

You register the guest first

Before you introduce anyone, send us their name, phone or email, and rough travel dates. We reply within 24 hours with a registration ID (e.g. MSW-2026-041) and its expiry date — or we tell you straight away that they're already on our books, before you've spent any effort on them.

Your guest enquires

They contact us however they like, quoting your code or simply mentioning your name. It's matched to your registration on the day it arrives — attribution is settled before a single price is quoted, not argued about after money has moved.

We confirm and they travel

We quote, check permit availability, and confirm. Commission becomes payable once the guest has actually travelled — not when they book, because bookings get cancelled and permits get refunded.

You're paid within 15 days

Bank transfer to your account within 15 days of the guest's last day of travel, with a one-page statement showing the booking value, the deductions above, and the resulting commission.

The rules

Short, and we mean them

Registration beats first contact

A referral is yours from the moment we confirm your registration in writing — not from when the guest happens to call. Register first and there is nothing left to argue about.

90 days, extendable on evidence

A registration holds for 90 days, which suits international guests who plan far ahead. If they're still deciding at day 85, send us one line showing you're still in contact and we'll extend it another 90. Silence lets it lapse.

If two partners claim the same guest, the guest decides

Earlier registration normally wins. But if both are genuine we simply ask the guest who introduced them, and pay that partner in full. Nobody has to take our word for it, and we're not put in the position of judging between two people we work with.

Dormant registrations can be taken over

If your registered guest has had no contact from you for 45 days and books through another partner who did the actual work, we split the commission equally and tell you both. It stops a registration becoming a claim on someone else's effort.

Existing guests aren't referrals

If someone has already enquired with us directly, or travelled with us before, they're not a new referral. Registering first is what protects you — we'll tell you within 24 hours, before you've done any work.

Disagreements, settled in writing

If something is still unclear after the rules above, we'll set out our decision in writing with the dates and evidence we relied on. You have seven days to reply with anything we've missed, and we'll reconsider properly if you do.

Commission after travel, not booking

Cancellations, date changes and monsoon closures are normal here. Paying on completed travel keeps it clean for both of us. Partial cancellations are paid pro-rata on what was actually travelled.

Represent us accurately

Don't promise tiger sightings, specific gates, guaranteed permits, or prices we haven't confirmed. Wildlife doesn't cooperate and permits are allocated by the forest department, not by us.

What ends the arrangement

Bidding on our brand name in paid search, spam, fake reviews, unauthorised discounts in our name, or misrepresenting what a safari includes. We'll cancel the partnership and withhold commission on affected bookings.

Tax is your responsibility

Commission is business income. We deduct TDS where Indian law requires it and give you the certificate. Indian partners with GST registration should invoice us; if you're outside India, tell us and we'll work out the right route together.

We can change the rates

With 30 days' notice, and never retroactively — anything already referred is paid at the rate in force when the enquiry was logged.

Questions

Before you ask

Is there a minimum number of referrals?
No. One referral a year is fine. There's no quota, no tier you can drop out of, and nothing to maintain.
What does a typical commission actually come to?
On a three-night Tadoba trip for two at a mid-range lodge, the commissionable value is usually a large majority of the booking. At 10% that's a meaningful amount for a single introduction — but we'd rather show you the real calculation on your first payout than quote a headline number here that might not match your booking.
Can I offer my audience a discount?
Ask first. We can sometimes arrange a small guest-side benefit, but it comes out of the same margin your commission does, so we agree it together rather than you announcing it.
I'm outside India. Can I still join?
Yes, and international partners are genuinely useful to us. Cross-border payment and tax treatment need sorting individually before your first referral, so tell us where you're based when you apply.
Do you pay on Africa bookings too?
Those are arranged through partner operators, so our own margin is thinner and commission is agreed case by case. Tadoba and Pench are where we can pay the full published rate, because that's the ground we run ourselves.
What paperwork do you need before paying me?
Your PAN, and a GST invoice if you're GST-registered. Commission is business income and we deduct TDS where Indian law requires it, then give you the certificate. If you're outside India, tell us where you're based when you apply — cross-border payment and withholding need sorting before your first referral, not after it.
What if I disagree with a decision?
Reply within seven days with what you think we've missed and we'll look again properly. We'd rather lose an argument than a working relationship. If it still can't be settled, the agreement is governed by Indian law — but we'd regard reaching that point as a failure on our side.
How do I know you'll actually pay?
Fair question to ask any small operator. We're a GST-registered business (Bhargav Kapil Barman, GSTIN 27BELPB8047N1Z0 — verifiable on the government portal), the founder answers the phone personally, and every payout comes with a written statement. Start with one referral and judge us on it.
